The Ultimate Dream Job Contest 2010

The Learning Partnership, in partnership with Scotiabank® brings to you the second annual Ultimate Dream Job Contest. This national online photo contest will run from August 16th to October 25th for Canadian students starting grade 9, Senior 1 (Manitoba) and Secondary III (Quebec) in a publicly funded school in the fall. Students can signup to submit photos representing their ‘Dream Job’, along with a short description (25 words or less) about why this would be their dream job. Each week the five best photos will be displayed on-line for public voting to win exciting weekly prizes.

All weekly winners are eligible to win the Grand Prize return trip from their home to Ottawa, with their parent/guardian, to meet The Honourable Peter Milliken, Speaker of the House of Commons on Take Our Kids to Work day November 3, 2010. While in Ottawa they will tour national attractions like Parliament Hill, The National Gallery of Canada, The Royal Canadian Mint and the Canadian Museum of Civilization.

The Ultimate Dream Job Contest 2009 Winners

Congratulations to the Take Our Kids to Work™ Ultimate Dream Job Contest Grand Prize winner!

GRAND PRIZE WINNER!
MANGA ARTIST

I want to grow up to be a Manga artist! (Note: Manga is the Japanese word for comics.) I lost my hearing when I was 3 years old and drawing has always been a good way for me to communicate. But now it is my best talent! I practice drawing every day and I dream about making people enjoy and laugh when they read my comics.

The Grand Prize winner meets The Honourable Stephen Harper in Ottawa.
