Take Our Kids to Work Day a Success!
More than 250,000 Grade 9 students and 75,000 employers across the country took part in Take Our Kids to Work Day on November 6. Registered employers can 
apply for The Learning Partnership’s Canada’s Outstanding Employer Awards by sumbitting an entry with information about their commitment to Canada’s students – our nation’s future work force – by 5 p.m. Eastern, Wednesday, November 13.  Read more...

On September 13, 2013, The Learning Partnership honoured Gerry Pond, O.N.B., Chairman of Mariner Partners, with a Champion of Public Education Award. James K. Irving, O.C., O.N.B., Chairman of J. D. The Learning Partnership’s Entrepreneurial Adventure Program is seeking skilled and dynamic business volunteers in Hamilton, Ottawa, and the Greater Toronto Area (Durham, Peel, Halton), who are committed to Canada's future workforce. As a team, teachers and business partners will work directly with students to help them learn key skills needed in today’s business world.  Read more...

The Learning Partnership is gearing up for the 2014 Canada’s Outstanding Principals Award. Winners will be celebrated at a February gala dinner in Toronto and participate in a five-day executive leadership training program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
