“Building Community, Creating Learning Space” – by Ms. Veronica Lacey
The role of universities in Canada is changing as are the nature and composition of Canadian society. These major demographic shifts, especially in urban areas such as Toronto, have implications for many aspects of education including teaching, learning and the creation of effective learning space.  For the university to thrive in the current environment, it is important that students, faculty and administration support the effort to build community throughout the university and beyond.
