Steve R. Wolff,

Chief Executive Officer,
Nova Scotia Pension Services Corporation

Steve is the Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Pension Services Corporation. Pension Services Corp. is jointly owned by the Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. and the Teachers’ Pension Plan Trustee Inc.: Nova Scotia’s two largest public sector pension plans. For the two pension plans combined, Pension Services Corp. provides pension administration services to more than 60,000 plan members and manages approximately $9.5 billion in investment assets.

Steve has 30 years of experience in financial services and investment administration.  He began his career in commercial lending and transitioned to risk management and then to investment administration.  Steve held senior level positions in risk management and investment operations at State Street Bank and Trust Company.  He designed multi-jurisdictional risk frameworks, managed investment administration and institutional shareholder servicing platforms, and implemented complex outsourcing relationships.

During his tenure as Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Pension Agency, Steve worked closely with stakeholders of the Public Service Superannuation Plan to lead the design and transition of the Plan from a sole trustee to a joint trustee structure. During this same period, Steve led the transition of Nova Scotia Pension Agency from a government agency to a statutory non-profit corporation owned by the Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. and the Teachers’ Pension Plan Trustee Inc.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from Boston College.
