Steve R. Wolff,

President and Chief Executive Officer,
CIBC Mellon

Steve Wolff is President and Chief Executive Officer of CIBC Mellon, a Canadian leader in asset servicing. CIBC Mellon is 50-50 jointly owned by BNY Mellon and CIBC. Mr. Wolff is responsible for the overall strategy and performance of CIBC Mellon. He has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and investment administration.

Prior to joining CIBC Mellon, Steve was Chief Executive Officer of the Nova Scotia Pension Services Corporation, which administers the pension benefits and investment assets of two of Nova Scotia’s largest public sector pension plans. Mr. Wolff also held senior level positions in risk management and investment operations at State Street Bank and Trust Company, where he led teams in Canada, the Cayman Islands, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Wolff holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management - Boston College. He is a member of the Board of Directors for The Learning Partnership, and he was a founding member of the Canadian Public Pension Leadership Council, and a former Vice Chair of the Actuarial Standards Oversight Council.
