Board of Directors

The Learning Partnership has a volunteer Board of Directors who meet quarterly and are responsible for overall governance and stewardship of the organization. This includes ensuring  that strong governance structures are in place; recruiting and ensuring the training and education of skilled, experienced and qualified directors; appointing a skilled executive management team; oversight of and succession planning for the President & CEO; approving and overseeing the execution of the strategic plan; performance measurement and monitoring; financial oversight; and risk management.

The Board carries out its responsibilities directly and through three committees: the Finance & Audit Committee (FAC); the
Governance & Legal Committee (GLC); and the Human Resources Committee (HRC). Each of these committees has their own respective mandates and meets quarterly.
