The Learning Partnership honoured 40 outstanding Canadian principals tonight at an unforgettable gala event. Honourees from across Canada were recognized for their contributions to public education.
These educational leaders received their awards at the 14th annual Canada’s Outstanding Principals Awards Gala, uniting families and friends of the honourees, and senior leaders in education, government and business, at The Carlu in Toronto.
Ron Canuel, President and CEO of The Learning Partnership, entertained guests as the emcee for the evening.
The Honourable Indira Naidoo-Harris, Ontario’s Minister of Education, welcomed the outstanding principals and thanked them for their leadership and commitment to their school and communities. The Honourable David Joanaise, Nunavut’s Minister of Education, Minister of Culture and Heritage, Minister responsible for Nunavut Arctic College and Minister of Languages, was also in attendance.
In celebration, the CN Tower was lit orange and blue in recognition of Canada’s Outstanding Principals.
