Question from a student in Sherwood Park, AB

“What are some of your major responsibilities working at a bank? What kind of education do you need to work there? Do you enjoy your work?”

I work on internal projects within the bank, so some of my major responsibilities are organizing and analyzing data, using data to recommend solutions, delivering presentations, and figuring out how we can complete a project on time and deliver the needed results.

While it is common for individuals who work for a bank to have a degree in business administration or commerce, I have encountered people from a large variety of educational backgrounds at TD, even musical theatre!

Different departments (marketing, technology, communications, risk, finance, etc.) require people with different skillsets.

I enjoy work because I get to work with great people and learn new things.
