Entrepreneurial Adventure empowers students from Kindergarten to grade eight to create a business venture right in their classrooms. Mentors from businesses are paired with each class to guide students along their entrepreneurial journey. Students develop products to sell and donate the profits to charity. Through the program, students strengthen core global competencies, including critical thinking, creative problem-solving and collaboration. Teachers are supported by a program manager and with resources, including lessons and activities that are connected to provincial curricula. The program culminates in a Entrepreneurial Adventure Showcase where students market and sell their creations. To date, over $3 million has been raised and contributed to local, national and international charities.
