Canada’s Outstanding Principals

Canada’s Outstanding Principals

Canada’s Outstanding Principals is a nationally recognized award and an executive leadership training program that recognizes the unique and vital contribution of principals in publicly funded schools.

Coding Quest

Coding Quest

Students are challenged to build an educational game following an engineering design process using block-based coding. Building computational thinking skills and core global competencies along the way, students showcase and present their game at a concluding Coding Quest Arcade.

Coding Trek

Coding Trek

Students are introduced to coding by helping a character named Tulip through a series of challenges. Teachers are provided with comprehensive resources to engage students with coding concepts, numeracy, language, social studies and science.

Directors Institute

Directors Institute

The Directors of Education Leadership Institute is a leading edge executive development program. The Learning Partnership developed it in association with the Council of Ontario Directors of Education (CODE) and prominent Business Schools in Ontario

Entrepreneurial Adventure

Entrepreneurial Adventure

With the support of a business mentor, students work in teams to create an inspiring venture and take it to market. Students sell their creations at an Entrepreneurial Adventure Showcase, donating profits to a charity of their choice.

Investigate! Invent! Innovate!

Investigate! Invent! Innovate!

A science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) based program that inspires students to examine the world around them, identify a problem or challenge and develop a prototype to solve it. Students pitch their inventions at a culminating Invention Convention.

Turning Points

Turning Points

Developing character through self-reflection, students write a personal narrative about an important event in their lives and its impact on their development. Submissions are adjudicated and winning essays are published in an annual student anthology

Ivey Leadership Series

The Learning Partnership is pleased to offer the fourth Ivey Leadership Series for supervisory officers and principals/vice-principals. Together, participants will explore topics that will develop their leadership abilities to build coherence in their organizations and to strengthen their capacity to deliver on educational priorities.

Real Talk

Real Talk

Real Talk is a mobile and Web app for high school students that crowdsources the best advice, tips and resources from young people who have recently entered the world of work. Real Talk also references high school experiences that enhanced the school-to-work journey.

Welcome to Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten

Bringing together families, school and community agencies to support children for a successful transition to school. Strategies and resources are shared at local orientation sessions to encourage early learning through play-based activities at home.
